Celebrating the Fourth of July in Fort Wayne

BSJ50001If this is your first Independence Day Holiday in Fort Wayne, or if you just haven’t paid much attention in the past, you might wonder how we celebrate the nation’s birthday around here.

The good news about living at Montrose Square Apartments in Fort Wayne, is that you’re close to a terrific celebration held annually nearby at the IPFW campus.  Since the sun seems to stay out forever during the summer in Northern Indiana, the fireworks don’t start until well after ten.  To get a prime viewing spot, you’ll want to get there earlier, which is OK, because the food vendors open at 4 pm on Parking lot 12.

The Fireworks are set off from Parking Garage Number Two.  Admission is free, and so is the parking.  Here’s a link to the IPFW campus map.

How do you like to celebrate the Fourth of July?
