Wow! What an awesome summer it’s shaping up to be here in Fort Wayne! We hope you’re ready to keep the fun going because July is going to be jam-packed full of fun events as well! Here’s our pick of the top 11 amazing things going on this month, plus a listing of some other great weekly events going all month long.

1. Broadway Street Stroll

Sunday, July 3, join The Philmore in celebrating everything Broadway Street has to offer. The Broadway Street Stroll will feature some of the best fine dining, breweries, retail shopping, music venues and more!

2. Fort Wayne Philharmonic: Patriotic Pops

Start the Independence Day Celebration off right by heading out to Parkview Field on July 3rd for Patriotic Pops, a FREE concert by the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra. 3. Early Bird Nature Walk and Bike Ride

July 3rd, join Fort Wayne Trails on the Historic Wells Street Bridge for a FREE nature walk and/or bike ride! 4. Fort Wayne Tincaps vs. South Bend Cubs

5. 4th of July Fireworks

What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with fireworks! Bring a chair or blanket downtown on July 4 to watch the annual 4th of July fireworks off the Indiana Michigan Power Center. Fireworks start at 10pm.

6. Three Rivers Festival

Three Rivers Festival is, hands down, one of the greatest things about summertime in Fort Wayne. Don’t miss some amazing traditions such as Junk Food Alley, Bed Races, Fireworks, a parade, live music and so much more going on July 8-16! 7. St. Joe Pickle Festival

OK, so it’s not in Fort Wayne, but it’s only a short drive and worth the trip!What’s a Pickle Fest you ask? The St. Joe Pickle Festival was mentioned by Food Network as one of the greatest All American Festivals. The St. Joe Pickle Festival, going on July 21-23, will have plenty of awesome food vendors, live music, a parade, lots of activities for the kids, and of course, pickles!

8. Fort Wayne Pride Fest

Fort Wayne Pride Fest will be held on July 22-23 at Headwaters Park. The two-day event features a pride march, live entertainment, a vendor’s market, beer tent, concessions, workshops, tournaments, KidSpace, & fun with family

9. K105 Country Fest

July 23rd, don’t miss Fort Wayne’s biggest and baddest country music celebration! This year’s Country Fest lineup consists of amazing country acts such as Lee Brice, Jon Pardi, Clare Dunn and many more!

10. Allen County Fair

July 26-31, bring the kids on out to the Allen County Fairgrounds for the annual Fair! The Allen County Fair has something for everyone, including: animal shows, truck pulls, demolition derbies, live music, food court, and so much more! No worries, Foodstock 2016 will feature all of your favorite Fort Wayne Food trucks! Bring the whole family and an appetite, because we promise you won’t leave hungry! Come on out to the Indiana Michigan Power Center plaza on July 30, from 11-8!

We’ve reached number 11 but we’re not done there! Fort Wayne still has a lot more to offer and these weekly events will keep you busy all Summer long!

Tuesdays – Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of July, Sweetwater will be hosting an Open Acoustic Jam Session! This is the perfect environment for musicians of all ages and skill sets. Bring your favorite guitar and come on out!

Wednesdays – Every Wednesday this month, come on out to the Foellinger Theater for a FREE movie! This month, they will be featuring awesome movies like The SpongeBob Movie, Hotel Transylvania 2, Inside Out and more. Visit their website to learn more.

Thursdays – Lunch on the Plaza is quickly becoming one of Fort Wayne’s greatest summer traditions. Every Thursday from 11-2, come visit Freimann Square for FREE live music and SO MANY Fort Wayne famous food trucks. There’s no better place to grab lunch!

Saturdays –  Each Saturday morning in July the lovely Barr Street in Downtown Fort Wayne is transformed into a buzzing farmer’s market. The YLNI Farmer’s Market offers lots of local vendors selling fresh fruits, veggies, crafts, and more plus live music making this farmer’s market one of the most popular in the Fort Wayne area.

Saturdays – Every Saturday night in July, come on out to the Allen County Public Library for a Rock the Plaza, aFREE evening of tunes, brews and more! See you there, the party starts at 6! To see the full band schedule, visit their website.
